Partnered Intelligence: A Behind-the-Scenes Look

When I first set out to create Partnered Intelligence, I made a decision: I was going to build as much of it as possible with the very tools I’m writing about—AI tools. It felt only right that a platform designed to help professional services marketers embrace AI should be built in partnership with AI.
Spoiler alert: it’s been equal parts thrilling, humbling, and hilarious. Here’s a peek behind the curtain at some AI tools shaping the site, the posts, and even the images you see here.
Wix AI: Designing the Foundation
The Partnered Intelligence website runs on Wix, which now has AI-powered features. From auto-generating a site layout based on my goals to offering innovative suggestions for colors, fonts, and structure, Wix’s AI helped me get from idea to live website faster than I thought possible. It wasn’t perfect (some suggestions looked like they were pulled from a 1998 design catalog), but it gave me a strong starting point I could refine.
Grammarly: My Ever-Patient Editor
Even marketers need editors. Grammarly’s AI has been invaluable for polishing blog posts, catching typos, and smoothing out phrasing. But what I really appreciate are the tone suggestions—like when it politely tells me I sound “overly formal” or “slightly aggressive” (it’s usually right). Grammarly has become my second set of eyes, reminding me that clarity is just as important as creativity.
ChatGPT: The Creative Partner
ChatGPT has been my brainstorming partner, copywriting assistant, and occasional comic relief. From helping draft blog outlines to suggesting taglines to creating variations of logos, it has pushed me to think differently and speed up the creative process. Of course, the key is that nothing is “ChatGPT-only.” I always edit, adapt, and refine to ensure the end result sounds (and looks) like me.
Photoshop (AI Edition): Images with a Twist
Photoshop’s new AI features have been a game-changer. I’ve been able to create custom images for posts, generate variations of logos, and even experiment with more whimsical content (like cartoon versions of myself in a dusty blue suit). The generative fill tool is entertaining—it’s like having a digital design assistant on call.
Why This Matters
Using these tools hasn’t just been about efficiency. It’s been a learning lab. I’ve seen firsthand where AI shines, where it stumbles, and where the human touch makes all the difference. That’s why you may notice “Easter eggs” across the site—little quirks or imperfections I’ve left in intentionally. They’re reminders that AI is powerful, but the best results happen when machines accelerate and humans elevate.
Let’s Learn Together
I’m sharing my journey not because I have all the answers, but because I know many marketers are in the same boat—curious, a little skeptical, and eager to experiment. If there are AI tools you’d like me to explore, or if you spot an “Easter egg” in one of my posts, drop me a note.
